Part A base compound is a viscose paste supplied to Fluidic metering unit via Graco 16:1 ratio transfer pump 5 gallon ram/elevator. Part B red cream hardener supplied to Fluidic meter unit via Graco 16:1 ratio transfer pump one gallon ram/elevator. Proportioned A/B compound separately for hand mix applications. Mixed through static mixer for direct applications. Mix ratio was 50:1 pbw @ +/-1% accuracy. The compound was air-free after processing through the metering unit.

Two component dispense valve:

  1. Proportioned A/B separately for hand
    mix application.
  2. Meter/Mixed A/B through static mixer
     
 
     
Bondo viscosities are 175,000 – 300,000 cps.
Tested @ 2% and 2.2% catalyst pbw
Used gram scale with 0.01 resolution.
Maintained ratio within +/- 1%
 
Uniform consistent mix with static mixer.
